Hardest Day

Posted on: 18th August 2020

wreath laid jpgOn Tuesday 18th August St Luke’s was open for prayer to commemorate the Hardest Day of the Battle of Britain. Folk came from the community, from the congregation, from RAFA, from the Kenley Revival Project…and more, to pay their respects at the war graves and to view the amazing presentation of photographs and memories from 80 years ago. (Thanks to Linda Duffield!) A wreath was laid, words were said, prayers were prayed.
