A successful churchyard tidy up was held on Saturday with over 40 people from the church and the community turning up to help.
The Gardens of Remembrance were weeded and tidied, trees were divested of their climbing ivy, grass was strimmed and many other jobs were carried out in the churchyard.
The children also had great fun making seed bombs, bug hunting, cake decorating and bubble blowing.
The weather was just right and the cakes and drinks were outstanding.
Thank you to everyone who helped plan the day, those who came along to help, and to those who made the tea and cakes to refresh the workers. Here’s to the next time.
