As usual, St Luke’s Church was full for our Remembrance Day service.
During the service standards were presented by the Air Cadets, Scouts, Cubs, The Brownies, the Guides and Jake did a magnificent job carrying the standard for the Beavers.
Over the weekend our important connection with RAF Kenley was not forgotten as the lives of those who fought in the war, buried in Airmen’s Corner in our Churchyard, were given their country’s flag, a precis of their life and of course a poppy, by local school children. This was organised by Linda of the Kenley Revival Project.
